When you ask for a window-cleaning quote, it's worth checking exactly which surfaces are included. A low price doesn't help much if the areas you expected to be cleaned turn out to be separate.
Exterior glass, frames and sills
Regular exterior window cleaning with Hamblin Property Care includes glass, frames and sills. Their latest draft information also lists doors as standard. The final scope should still be agreed for your particular property, especially if it has unusually large glazed areas or specialist materials.
What about patio doors and front doors?
A normal external door may be included, but tell the provider if you have several full-height glazed doors, bifolds or a particularly large porch. It's much easier to discuss these in advance than to discover on the day that the glazing is more extensive than expected.
Does it include the inside of the windows?
Don't assume so. Many regular residential rounds focus on the outside. If you want internal windows, mirrors or interior conservatory glass cleaned, mention that separately so the provider can confirm whether the work is available.
Are conservatory roofs and rooflights included?
Usually these need to be discussed as additions. A sloping conservatory roof, Velux window or high glass panel can require different access and equipment. The roof material and manufacturer's care instructions also matter.

- Check whether rear access is through a locked gate or shared passage.
- Say whether you want a first clean, regular visits or a one-off clean.
- Mention damaged seals or fragile surfaces before any work starts.
