A conservatory roof is different from ordinary vertical window glass. Its slope, seals, panels and access arrangements affect how it should be cleaned.
Which type of roof do you have?
Glass and polycarbonate roofs may require different products and techniques. Tell the provider which material you have, if known, and whether any panels are damaged or leaking.
Access can be the difficult part
A roof below the main gutter line may make the job awkward. Narrow passages, gardens and nearby fencing can also limit where equipment can be used safely. Never climb onto conservatory panels to clean them.
Is it included in a regular window clean?
Don't assume it is. Even if the main windows, frames and sills are included in a regular service, the sloping conservatory roof is normally something to mention and price separately.
What should you send with your enquiry?
- Approximate roof size and number of sections.
- Roof material and any known damage.
- Photos showing access from the garden or side path, if available.
- A note about moss, algae or other visible deposits.
The cleaning provider can then assess whether the roof is suitable and what equipment would be needed. You can start by selecting window cleaning and explaining the conservatory in the optional message, or browse other exterior cleaning services.
